Twiglets

OK, so maybe they've had them for a while, but it seems like it might be a recent addition because the reviews are all pretty new. Not a bad price for 16 large bags:

One of those things you either love or hate, I happen to love them.

The first time I tasted them I was expecting pretzels. :D It just wasn't the taste I expected and I didn't like them. But you're right its a love or hate thing. :)

Re: Twiglets

I'd seen them before, but I don't think they were for the large bag...I've seen them at x-mas tree shop for cheap though, that and Ocean State Job Lots now and again...

No, you're not. :) I love 'em. In fact, even SWMBO, who turns up her nose at Marmite, quite likes them.

Love twiglets - and marmite. To me, breakfast bliss is a bagel with a dod of cream cheese and marmite with a cuppa. My world is a better place. :)

Now that's just wrong. I can't do marmite, although maybe I could now - I never liked sandwich spreads in general as a kid but I can do that sort of thing now. I'll never find out though.

Have you ever tried Scampi and Lemon Nik Naks? I used to love those, I had my mum mail me some a few years ago, my hubby couldn't stand the smell and banished me outside to eat them... they tasted sooooo good!

Well I was just inspired to go to the shop and buy some twiglets! Got some squash too while there (Robinson's. I prefer Ribena but it's like $10 for a bottle)

Nik Naks rule! My favourite was the Nice n' Spicy flavour. So good.

I LOVE scampi and lemon Nik Naks!:wub:

Mum's coming over in late June to visit the new baba. I reckon I should start a list of junk food I want today so I don't forget anything important nearer the time.

1. Lemon and Scampi Nik Naks
2. Dairy Milk with orange or mint bits
3. Apple and blackcurrant squash
4. Hmm...

I used to do judo as a child and after every class my Dad would buy us a packet of Frazzles to eat in the car on the way home. I will therefore always associate them with kicking some older boy's arse while wearing white pyjamas.

After finishing my first box I had a slight panic as Amazon no longer had twiglets. Fortunately today they have them again: http://www.amazon.com/Jacobs-Origina...1288566&sr=8-1

The twiglets are good value - these are the large bags and it works out at under $2.30 for each bag. Last time I looked the big bags aren't far off £1.50 each in the UK.

The first box went very quickly, I took them over to friends when they had parties, and several people ended up with a bag because they were hooked.

Edit to add: I can easily get through a bag every couple of days if I'm not careful.

come on people, even if you didn't like them in England we must now KEEP THE TWIGLET ALIVE!

Part of being British! Forgetting the twiglet is simply not cricket, chaps....

I have a HUGE jar of marmite which my parents brought over last visit. Lasts forever, I'd only just finished the jar from their last trip the year before!
