Trying to take more than $10,000 USD out of the US
Hi,
I tried searching the INS website and this newsgroup to no avail. What
forms or procedures do I need to fill out or execute in order to
remove more than $10,000 USD out of the country? Also, is this limit
based on individual or couple? For example, can my wife and I take
$20,000 USD out of the US without any issues or are we still hit with
the $10,000 USD limit?

The information in on the Customs and Border Protection Agency's site:
http://www.bcp.gov/
They have a questions section, which you can search.

Is it drug money? Or did you robed a bank?
If not, why don't you put money on you bank account and just bring Visa card
with you. Sure you can take some money in cash, but credit cards are more
convenient. Also you can take AmEX Travelers checks. As far as I know they
shouldn't be declared in any customs.
