Default Travelguard - AIG . Any reviews?

Has anyone used the "travelguard" product from AIG? Apparently, they can help with finance, credit card, etc for new expats in to the US.

I'm struggling to find any reviews online, but it would definitely be of interest if it's any good.
Cheers

Yes. Well worth the money. Search on this forum for lots of positive comments. We paid about $450 for the year and saved that on the car insurance quote they got us. We used them for quite a bit of stuff in their "concierge" service too. From certified translators to a college counsellor for our DD. They were a great help in getting us a mortgage too.

We've been given 'free' membership as part of out buying a car through IAS. Not used it yet but will be checking it for insurances. I wasn't aware of the concierge services so going to check this out.

Yes we got it free when we bought our car through IAS. They were by far the lowest insurance quote we got (still a lot of money mind you).
Didn't use them for anything else.

Yes, we used them when we first moved. We saved more than the membership fee on our first car insurance quote.

I'm currently using them for a few bits. You can get some good deal on cell phones as well.

Thanks all. How does it work? I'm particularly interested in access to credit/car finance.

Car finance is done through IAG, I got some very good deals for leasing 2 cars. Once you agree the contract you can sent details of the AIG travelguard plan. AIG then send you loads of contacts regarding services. You just pick and chose who to use. The insurance is also very good. I've been quoted very similar prices to UK insurance.
