It's weird. They're not the same sausages that they've put out in the last couple of years.

Not bad, had rusk in them which is authentic and natural casing, but they were thicker than they have been in the past.

Still, a hell of a lot cheaper than the Irish breakfast sausages from WF.

I think my now, regular go to pork sausage are the Wegmans own brand, they're pretty decent and much better priced than WF, especially when you find them on daily reduced price.

The New Zealand lamb that Whole Foods sometimes carry is so much nicer that the US lamb. Last time I was in they only had boned pieces on display but when I asked they had whole legs in the back and they cut it up for you.

I bought them last week, 2 packs. Not impressed at all. The skins were tough, as far as I can remember from being a sausage lover, they didn't taste like any Irish sausages that I've ever had. I was pretty disappointed, so it looks like Tommy Maloneys it is then, or fork out the $8 for 1lb from our local British shop

Doesn't help you, in CT....but Wegmans had Irish pork bangers for $6 a pound....though I've been getting their pork breakfast sausages, which are really good and about $5 a pound. They've got a good variety though for reasonable money.

I got one of those tubes of sausage meat in the white plastic tube, can't remember the weight, but about a pound or half pound? Anyway, $2.30 on daily clearance...bit spicy but made a awesome sausage roll.

I was looking at the lamb in there this morning - looked pretty decent, and $2-3 cheaper than the HEB just over the road. Still kinda pricey compared to back in the UK, but I might just have to try me some...

Yeah I cooked them last night along with onion gravy and mash and thought they were good. the closest I've sampled to what I'm used to back home. I cooked them on the bbq and they turned out lovely

Found one nearby in Brea, CA. Absolutely tiny and packed full of shoppers and products. Still, checkout was fairly quick albeit a bit pricey.

For steak (of the cow variety) I've found the Filipino "Seafood City" supermarket in West Covina pretty good. A pound of sirloin is a good couple of $$ cheaper than in Stater Bros, and is actually good quality.

Lucky for me there is a TJ's close to where we are moving to, and one close to DH's work.
