Amusing that, well so many people against Israel, but Intel are still doing alright, considering they manufacture a whole range of cpu's out there

Aye, weird how certain things are banned over here and what not, I rather liked those Nite-Lite glowrings, keyring that glows for life pretty much, but the gas used in them is banned in the US, so no place will send them to the US, shame as there pretty handy for all sorts of things, and cheap back in blighty if you can find them

US will find itself falling behind in scientific reseach if this continues.

Did you see the new Dr. Who where some extra-terrestial aliens with compression gas problems farted a lot. One of the not-of-this-earth-aliens regarded it as a very human activity.

I would have just bought a new chair with some of that £48,000 she was earning.

I have to admit, I absolutely hate spending time in my local Home Depot. Home Depot seems to be a very frustrating experience, lack of assistants who are willing to show you where something you are looking for is actually located. Also, my local Home Depot is the one where the sniper shot a woman dead in the car park. The tape of the new husband in shock on the phone with emergency services was just awful. His wife's face was destroyed.

There's nothing stopping U.S. private companies doing stem-cell research, so I am not sure what the real issue is here other than the political one of making Bush look bad, which of itself is not necessarily a bad thing.

Financial suicide though isn't it....bit like tv channels showing those pro life adverts, but they'd get slaughtered if they showed an advert for an abortion clinic or family planning.

Bob, there's loads of US biotech companies working on exploiting stem cells, both somatic and fetal origin. You actually point out in your opening post:

Emphasis added in bold.
