In that case, I am going to do another!

Set the scene - a cold, dark, autumn evening, a country pub with a warm open fire.

Lamb chops with garlic mash, greens, TONS of gravy, and then apple crumble and custard to follow.

A list of 5 foods I will be happy never to see again (they may also end up on a future list of things I miss)

1 Pan of scouse
Less and less common as the years went by, but it still ended up on a plate every now and then.

2 Steak and kidney pie
Always seemed to be the only thing to eat at the footy, spat the kidney out.

3 Black pudding
Scottish cafes seem to always add it to a breakfast no matter how many times you ask it to be omitted.

4 Carvery restaurants
several forms of glob on a plate

5 Savaloy sausages
Not sure how I would find myself eating these things, I never leant.

Scotch eggs
Soda farls
Scampi fries (open a bag, clear a room)
Angel delight
'mystery meat' pasty out of the local chippy. Seriously - dayglow pink meat but bloody lovely.

Winter is shit.

I suppose it's all relative. I should probably have qualified that with 'in the UK', as I really was thinking about Belfast when I said it.

I got a laugh out of Santa with the squits though

I have this craving for Farley's rusks: I think I must be having some sort of breakdown!

Apart from that I could take the majority of foods that you guys have noted, I remember takeaway from the chippy wrapped up in newspaper, the smell of my Dad walking in the back door with this treat was fantastic.
