That reminds me of when my husband made biscuits and gravy and used powdered sugar instead of flour for the gravy. He served it to my parents (hadn't tasted it) then realized his error and was throwing it away. My mother was nibbling on hers and I said 'why are you eating that?!?! It can't be any good'. 'It's not very good' she replied. Needless to say, we went out instead.
