Hi, quick question.

When filling in these forms... Im now married, do I fill them in as my name that year or as my name now?

Either... it doesn't matter. You'll be correctly linked via your social security number.

Just a note because I saw so much confusion on this point this April.... When filling in tax forms, your filing status depends on whether you were married on the last day of the tax year (whatever your tax year is for filing purposes; it may be different from the calendar year under certain circumstances). If you marry on the last day of the tax year, you are married. If you are single, or your divorce is granted, on the last day of the tax year, you are not married. Your marital status at the time of filing is not at issue.
