Tax Advice
Hi all
Do you have any recommendations for a tax filing company? I am facing doing a return for the first time ahhh!
My case is a little more complicated as I own a couple of rental properties in the UK while living in America.
I have been trying to get hold of the guys from britishexpatstax.com since before Christmas with no luck of speaking to anyone.
Any advice would be greatly received.
Thanks

Re: Tax Advice
If your foreign assets are just a couple of UK flats any CPA should be able to help you. The only twist is the longer depreciation for overseas rentals...40 years vs 27 years of US rentals. If you get TurboTax you can probably do this yourself.

Re: Tax Advice
I have used Thomas Hatheway from Hatheway and Associates for my complicated tax returns while I was between the US and AUS. He is a little pricey, but for me it was worth it because I could never have figured it out on my own. He is based in Seattle, but he did all my tax returns while I was in Australia communicating over email.
