In our previous house the dogs joined us in the bedroom. The Bassett Hound chewed through his small bed.........wife bought a bigger bed...........chewed through that.........I got a new chair so the dog was upgraded to my old armchair.

Such fun throwing things away when we moved to make room for the dog's armchair! Even now he has his chair to himself in the main room while the rest of the family squash into the other available seats.

I guess I kinda lied about the tinfoil keeping the dog off the furniture. Apparently it only works after being activated by the garage door opening when wife comes home.... pretty similar to the "no human food" rule too, come to think of it

Nice to hear some good, kind and caring stories from animal lovers. It makes a pleasant change from the horror tales of cruelty, especially about the dog fight bosses around here.
