I swear blind, the first time I looked at this thread title it actually said twat.
Must be senility or something. Maybe its the drugs.

Actually, it was.

I've never heard twat on kids' tv shows before...
Here I find most yanks will say "what's a bollock?" when I use that word. LOL

I have no idea where I got this from, but occasionally I will say 'Bollocks McFollocks' in a Scottish accent, it throws everyone off, even me, I really don't know where I got that one from!

You confuse yourself with your own expressions?
You must be a lot of fun at parties.

hmm. maybe i havent watched enough children's programs but I certainly have always thought of it as a rather mild and almost endearing expletive. I have certainly heard it on the radio, radio1 etc. I am suprised I have to say.. maybe people are more prudish than I thought..

is one I sometimes use if I'm feeling particularly displeased by something.
Got it from a mate who coined it at the moment he discovered his bike had been stolen.

Oooh, that one gets a befuddled reaction.
My mother once washed my mouth out with Fairy Liquid for calling my father a Twat. I thought it meant the same as Prat. Turn out not :scared:
Twunt is the new twat, btw.
I try not to fall behind on my British swear word fashion. Leaves me too vulnerable in crowded pubs otherwise.

I am always shocked when my OH says in polite company - oh my fanny is killing me from that bus ride downtown, or such like. Or - can you grab my fannybag honey, I'll be paying for this - in McDonalds!!!
When I first heard her ailing mother come home from work and say - my fanny is so sore from sitting on that 'hard stool' all day - I almost puked!!!
