could have been worse though - i wn a few quid and got to spend 5 hours eating chicken wings and drinking beer.

I had absolutely no idea what was going on at any given moment.
However I also got to drink beers and eat hotdogs and be in a room full of shouting men and over-excited women and I'm glad the state I live in has won. I finally feel slightly at home here.

Agreed. Worst S/B I've seen in years. It was one big fat yawn. I was rooting for the Hawks, the underdogs, but they blew it big time. Argh.

The superbowl was practically on my doorstep last year (in US distances) and I couldnt be arse with it then either.

To be honest if I was a player I'd only bother trying to get to it if it was going to be held in Florida...who the chuff wants to play girlie version of rugby up in some ice box?
