Colorado-- I love the mountains in all four seasons from peak bagging and trail running in the three seasons to skiing and snowshoeing in the winter.

If I had to move then it would be to Montana, Wyoming or Oregon. Vermont and Maine are 4th and 5th.

I would say the PNW, I like the sound of that area but I've never visited, in reality I may hate it :unsure: I also like the idea of BC, Canada. I would definitely move back to Europe, the UK, parts of France or Italy.

Yeah, North GA is definately nice in places. What area of it would you be near?

True, NC has some beautiful spots... i'll be in Canton, Cherokee County... my hubby-to-be was living further north than that, i've driven through the forests and mountains, its a gorgeous area to be close to, i think my boys will love the activities and hikes we can do there

I would split my time between New Hampshire and Oregon with frequent trips to NYC.

There's a lot to like about CA, but the silly firearms rules would interfere with my hobby. Same with NY or NJ.

WA, OR, CO, VA, maybe even OH all have appeal.

There's a lot of places I have yet to see, though.

No I've learned getting a sales tax out of an Oregonians pocket is harder than finding WMD in Iraq.

California, Colorado, parts of New England, that's about it.

I would rather move back to the UK (Cornwall) than live in most other parts of the US.

OK, both CA & Cornwall have excellent surfing conditions. Why not include HW?

We had the great good fortune to be able to make this choice last year, and we chose Oregon and love it :thumbup:

Scenery
Outdoor activities
Weather (believe it or not!)
Proximity to ocean
Proximity to mountains
General outlook on life
