Have on occasion found myself saying toMAto.
Not much call for asking for 'aluminum' in my line of work. Leather tends to work just fine...

Now that's a different thing altogether. I have already said that I do use various American words, trash, elevator etc. what I do not do is pronounce English words like an American, budder, dawg etc.
