Are you and your partner married? If not, you would each have to acquire a visa on your own merits; partnerships are not recognized for US immigration purposes. I see from your other posts that autism is involved with your child. A friend is dealing with this for her child, and even with excellent insurance coverage from a work group policy, the out-of-pocket costs she has to deal with are startling. Good luck with finding the right place for your family.

A figure of $200k is often mentioned for London-based E2s so 50k is a lot less likely to succeed. Also, on this visa, your child will age out at 21. This means either leaving the country or obtaining a visa in their own merits. Again, depending on the needs of the child, maybe this is unlikely to be viable? Also doesn't directly lead to a green card.
