Hi Imagine that I have a SSN that doesn´t allow me to work because i used my tourist
visa passport to apply for it. What if I use this number to get a job? If the Social
Security Administration realizes I´m working without permition and pass that
information to the INS, will they come to my home address and arrest me for that?
What usually happens?

Your employer may want to see your ssn or a copy of it or when he withholds your tax
and submits it to Uncle sam then you will really get into trouble with your employer.
Please do yourself a favour, abide the law.. it will help you in the long run..

Hi,
THIS SHOULD NOT BE CONSTRUED TO BE LEGAL ADVICE. I AM NOT A LAWYER. I DON'T EVEN PLAY
ONE ON TV!
They could possibly arrest you for fraud which is a felony and could get you a few
years in a federal prison. More likely they would just remove you from the US and bar
your return.
Assuming you are currently in status, the first day you work without INS permission
you go out of status, because you will have violated the terms of your admission.
Since you then are out of status you are subject to arrest and removal.
