Is this some kind of joke???

Personally, me and the wife have a small arsenal, lots of fun, a great stress buster, and very handy when 2 mexican gentlemen hop over your back wall at 2am - but that's another story.

So any fellow shooters hereabouts?

I got me a new Ruger LCP yesterday. Lovely little thing.

I justified the purchase on the grounds that carrying my 9mm requires trousers a size bigger than those I have many of, so I wasn't so much buying a gun as protecting my investment in legacy trousers.

Six long guns and 5 handguns. Plus SWMBO's Christmas present, which takes it to 6 of each. Still need an L1A1, though...

I've been dropping loads of hints about the 70th Anniversary Red Ryder Lever Action Carbine BB gun at WallyWorld - but I think she thinks I'm joking...

I don't feel 'safe' here in the USA, especially knowing that alot of people own firearms... I had shotguns at home in England for Clay Shooting. Before long if / when I have the money I will definately invest in a gun...

...interesting that you can rightfully own an AK-47 here! Unheard of in the UK unless it's on the black market!

I feel safer in the US than in the UK, and I do not have a gun, yet. I would be in more of a hurry to get one in the UK than the US

But you made a good point, difficult to get guns legally in the UK. Illegally not much of an issue.

This has actually gotten me thinking about purchasing a small 'shooter . But I think if I do I'll go for the Bersa Thunder 9 UC - good price and rave reviews from just about everyone.

That's my other carry pistol, believe it or not!

It's an excellent choice - you won't be disappointed. But why not get both?...

Nice, but I hope you've got ammo. .380 has been the hardest caliber to find this year. And nice score on the Lee press. I'm going to be looking into that sometime in 2010 when powder & primers free up.
