Good point. I have read several books with that theme, and it could create a nightmare... it would be right, but where does it stop- does Italy (Rome) have to pay compensation to the Iberians and other peoples they vanquished?
Since the slave traders were English, Dutch, Spanish and Portuguese, I assume all those governments will contribute a few billion$$ to the slave kitty? What a crock of shlt.
I say charge their damn offspring for their granddads all expense trip to the US...after all- living in the states is a might better than had they stayed in Kinsasha or Mugabelandia.

Hey- my dad said that we came from stock that originally came over as indentured servents- does that mean I get a big chunk of money...even tho I am white? If so, I may have to rethink this issue.
