Remind me, what freedoms do Americans have, again?

I wouldn't normally be so flippant on a thread about such a tragic story, but I feel if other members can spout utter bullshit then so can I.

Tell that to the 2 million people in Florida who have concealed weapons permits
and the 30,000 to 50.000 a month who are still applying for them

How big is this country again? So, still a rather sad and paltry sum.

Meh. This thread is just like any other gun thread. There are those who love guns more than anything in the world and are to blinkered to see anything else, there are those who hate guns more than anything... and then most of those in the middle who either don't care about guns or have varying degrees of tolerance to gun ownership/standards and carry laws.

Just like anything else here, the fringes end up frothing at the mouth and well, end up looking a bit mental and have poor arguments.

I'm really done with the willy waving on this thread, it all seems in very poor taste.

Florida Population 18 million permits issued 2 milion = 11% of state population have a carry permit dont know about other states but would not consider this a "rather sad and paltry sum."

Err.. I wrote "most Americans do not own a gun and have absolutely no interest in carrying one" What conceivable relationship does your response have to my statement??
