Default Short-term rentals San Diego

Hi,

I need to go to San Diego, CA for work in February and March 2008 and was wondering if anyone has any ideas or recommendations where I could rent short-term (2 months) fully furnished apartments in San Diego (city or nearby).

Been here a couple of times before but have always stayed at hotels. But as this will be a longer visit I would like to rent something fully furnished.

Thanks,
Andy

You could try craigs list: www.craigslist.org

Are you going there as a contractor or as an employee? If it's the latter, why don't you ask people at the SD office/location for suggestions?

... or email the SD visitor and convention bureau (or equivalent) for suggestions.

Have you thought about trying one of the 'suite' hotels? I used to come over a lot on business before I moved here and stayed at the Woodfin - http://www.woodfinsuitehotels.com/.

You get a full kitchen, lounge area and separate bedroom and it is a pretty good size, so not that different to a small apartment.

They also had complimentary happy hour and free DVD rentals

Thanks, I will be looking more into this. I've also find Extended StayAmerica, which apparently have fully furnished apartments at pretty good prices - any experience with them?

Cheers,
Andy

No, the only one I ever stayed in was Woodfin because it was close to the office over here. I don't know anything about ExtendedStay - try looking on tripadvisor to see if there are any reviews.
