Just a quick note to say that we would heartily recommend Anglo-Pacific who did our move. Got the stuff yesterday and the service was impeccable.

Cost for the 20ft container was GBP 4,201 from UK to Houston including door to door, packing and unpacking. We were lucky as we didn't buy the insurance and nothing was broken and we didn't get tugged by customs so no extra costs.

The furniture does look absolutely ridiculous in the US house though. We only brought it because company paid shipping....it'll have to do for now.

Cheers all.

Doug.

Get yourself down to Gallery Furniture on Post Oak - not as much fun at this location as the one on North Freeway that they've just had to close due to the fire, but an experience nonetheless! Obviously I accept no liability for the whopping amount of furniture you may or may not buy!!!
