Seattle
Well, we've been in North Carolina for five minutes (well, 12 days..) and it looks like due to work commitments we're going to have to move almost immediately to Seattle WA. It's not all bad news as that part of the US has always been top of our list of places to live....
So the usual question - anyone know a good place to live and rent a house, 4 beds or so, with all the usual family stuff, good schools etc...
There's a further complication...I've just bought a brand new minivan (courtesy of Intl Autosource, bless 'em) and now I've got to get it to Seattle from Charlotte NC without spending my life savings or putting 5000 miles on the clock. Anyone got any suggestions or experience on that front???

(ii) drive directly to Seattle (mapquest gives the distance as only 2872 miles)
(iii) rent a car trailer (not a two-wheel dolly tow-drag thingy) from Penske and haul your minivan to Seattle.

Any ideas if I don't want to drive it at all?? Although the idea of driving across the US really appeals to me, I don't think its very practical for a family with small children.
Do you know of any hauliers etc. who specialise in this sort of thing??
