Seattle
Anyone out there know Seattle? I've never been and I'm looking for a hotel Downtown, close-ish to the Grand Hyatt, but a bit cheaper. Any ideas?
Also, I'll have one morning and one afternoon in Seattle - what would be the top things on your list to see/do?
Thanks
Ps - I know this shouldbe in the travel section, but posted there earlier and got no repsonse...

Pike Market place is interesting, and a visit to the Space Needle,
the islands are really nice (but probably not enough time for those).
Enjoy the Coffees

I've stayed here before
Comfort Suites downtown 601 Roy St. TEL:2062822600
You didnt say when you were going to be there, so I put in a random date on the choice hotels website and the cheapest room was 89.31 a night. I think that was for the end of october.
The fish market is fun to see where they throw the fish and a visit to the Space needle(which the above hotel is within walking distants to) is a Seattle must.

OK thanks - will give it a shot.
NC - (or should I call you Penguin ). Yeah, I've checked out a few websites, but I try to get personal views/recommendations cos I never seem to have much luck off websites - I normally either end up staying at some place that bears no relation to the photos on the web, or else it looks exactly like it, but its in the roughest part of town!
