Aww I feel for you Vic, I'd have reservations about putting my 4 year old on a school bus too, but I'm sure he'll be fine.

So what you're saying is , you can get over the thought of putting your son on a school bus if it means you can have afternoon sex again, charming! (only kidding, you know I love ya! )

I'm sure it'll be fine, but I do think the American attitude to kids is a little different to the UK. Outside my daughter's school, tiny kids are wandering around unsupervised waiting for the bus. One little boy was crying bitterly because he'd lost his bag, and was too young to know what to do. I took him to the office, but there was no supervision at the bus stop.
At the schools around here, kids come from a wide area and by different means, so a child wouldn't be left out by not taking the bus. My kids are not on the bus route because they stayed at their old schools when we moved. On the plus side, you get more time if you put them on the bus. On the down side, the buses here look as if they are about to fall apart, no seat belts, bad behaviour on them and they can take a really long time to get to their destination because of all the stops.

the pickup has arrived ... I was contracted about 5 years ago to escort two kids from school every day to a secret location ... for a few weeks ...
The hardest bit was getting them released from the school ...
