You cannot un-invent something. Banning abortion would not make it go away, all it would do is make women go south of the border and put themselfs at risk by backstreet and Mexican abortions.
Instead of arguing whether abortion should be banned or not (which is futile) they should spend more money on education and letting people know the choices they have or how to avoid getting pregnant in the first place. Free contraception in schools, the alternatives to abortion (adoption or Safe Haven).
Of course education is expensive where as standing there and saying I'm against abortion is a good way of buying votes.

If it was overturned, all that would mean is that it would be State issue, not a Federal issue, so no need to go south of the border, maybe just to another state.
