Sausages!!!!
Just found some British bangers in Giant Eagle!!! OMG so exciting, how sad is that?
Frozen, $6.99 for 6 which is expensive. I bought some, I'll let you know what they taste like. But we may keep them frozen for a while and just look at them occasionally. They also had Auntie Bessies Yorkshire puds and bubble and squeak, Youngs Chip Shop fish fingers and some frozen Indian food. All at huge cost, of course. I'll have to go and lie in a darkened room for a while |

Re: Sausages!!!!
Will you lot get a grip. If you want english style sausages and bacon:
http://www.britishbacon.com/ Not cheap but it all arrives fresh in an insulated box packed with dry ice. After that you don't have to just have to imagine what it smells and tastes like. Better than those back home IMO. Nuf said p.s. I'm not expecting a brown envelope from BB. |

It's a grocery chain, like Kroegers or Randalls. They're here in Texas, not sure if it's a southern thing, or national chain though.

thanks for the link but the problem with these websites is you have to chuck out at least $20 (in the ones I've seen) for something you haven't tasted. I have tasted so many 'British' sausages here and they are all horrible, grisly etc. If I could find a website that sells British sausages with a known British brand then I'd be over the moon :)
I understand that Williamsons (British Bacon) bacon and sausages are used by BA and Virgin Atlantic. I can also highly recommend them. Still pricey though. |

Re: Sausages!!!!
Bought 2llb last weekend from Central Market in Plano they were described as British Bangers. They were the size of cumberland sausages I would give them 5 out of 10 as they were pretty tasteless.
