.... and for a bank account, car insurance, getting a (legit) drivers licence, ..... you name it and when you apply for it you'll be asked for "name, address, .... and SSN". :D

I know someone who was deported. She was only here as a visitor too and would have been going back to the UK in a few weeks anyway. She filled in the firm on the plane incorrectly, saying she hadnt applied for a visa, but really she had. To be honest, i wondered if they actually read those forms? Yeah I know what would be the point in completing them if they didnt check up the info, but still..... Anyway, now she is stuck back in the UK with her son and hasnt seen her husband in months. And the fact that she was deported will make obtaining a visa more difficult for her.
