Question Renew Green Card- extend proof of status

I'm permanent resident of US.
After marriage I changed my last name, so I had to apply for renew of my Green Card.
I applied for it in Chicago, IL.Then I obtained temporary proof of status - it means stamp to my passport, which expires in November.
I have checked status of my case on internet, and I know, that I have to wait for my new Green Card at least 5 months.
That means- that stamp in my passport expires before I receive my new Card.
Now I'm in Vancouver, Canada.
My question is: Do I have to extend my proof of status in Chicago, or may I do it in Seattle which is much closer:-)?
Can anybody help me? - I can't find any Seattle BCIS Office phone number - I can't ask them!

I'll appreciate any advice!

Monika
