Water has to proceed Ice so there you have it - it will only get worse.... and cold..... but if you look on the bright side.... (oh you can't, there's no sun)

I actually don't mind it for a change now and then as hot, hot, hot gets boring every day for nearly 2 decades, except Sunday morning when I play football, it's funny that the slightest hint of rain causes no-one to show up ....... apart from me and the other British/Irish guys that play, any sign of moisture and the Hispanics that play don't leave the house!
You do get spoiled though, and after 2 - 3 days of rain I'm going stir crazy stuck in the house.

The best lightning storm I saw was driving from California to Las Vegas, we had passed Stateline, NV and were on the way to Vegas about 45 minutes further, like you see in the movies with the big forked lightning etc. It was pretty spectacular, maybe even awesome .....eeemmm dude?!

Actually I meant 3.5 strikes per sq km per month but its still the highest of anywhere in the world. And no, tin hats are a bad bad idea round here.

LOL, gosh we are aren't we..we have family coming in three weeks and we've been telling them to prepare for scorching temperatures, not even sure the pool will be warm enough now..
