I recieved papers for Additional Evidence ,on the request it has MSC# , A# and CUD. What does the A# mean and the CUD? Does anyone know? They wanted our G-325A filled out completely and signed, Was I suppose to put the A# on the G-325A? Thanks

Only if you had on from a previously INS visa. Otherwise you should have marked it "none". Never leave blanks. It leads to RFE's.

Does that mean if my fiance was here on a student visa a few years ago he needs to
put his A#? is that different from the Alien registration number?

Thanks.

They are the same, however I'm not sure that he would have had one. If he did,
however, he should put it where requested on the forms. Alvena

A# means alien registration number. If you have one, you put it in. If you previously received a social security number, you put that in as well.

Why would they put an A# on my Request for Additional Evidence when it has not been approved yet? Do u think that they approve it then send me the request for evidence cause they know I will send it back to them and save time? Does this make sense to anyone? I am so confused!! I guess I will just wait and see, Thanks

They did so because that is normal procedure. Once the I-129F has started to be processed, the beneficiary (foreign fiance or spouse) is assigned an alien registration number. It does not mean the petition has been approved.

As verification of that fact, when we received our first Notice of Action from Vermont on the I-129F, my husband had already been assigned an alien registration number and it was found under the word "beneficiary" in the beneficiary name box.

Thanks for the help. It is so nice to share this with all of you and it does help to talk about it and find out what is going on, My fist notice from the I-129F does not have a number for the Beneficiary there is no place on the paper that has Beneficiary name box

Really? I find that quite strange. I know on ours, I don't have it with me as I am at the office, I recall it being on the right hand side of the paper (as you are holding it) and perhaps 1/3 of the way down from the top.

In the box it said: Beneficiary and under that the A# and under that Jim's full name.

Where in your first NOA does it mention your foreign fiancee/spouse's name?

As I have seen on a few websites the NOA they all come from Chicago and then they are sent to the Missouri, that is where my husband's and mine came from ,now on our I-130 it came from Nebraska Service Center and that one does not have a Beneficiary number on it either. OK the I-129F the only thing it has on it is Receipt Number, Case Type, Received Date, Priority Date, Applicant, Notice Date, Page and ASC Code, my name and address, and Notice Type and Amount Received and that is all that is on it
I don't see why they are not the same notice since they all come from the same place? I hope this makes sense to u cause it sure does'nt to me

PS No the I-129F does not have my husband's name on it but the I-130 does but as I said that one does not have a number on it
