Property Taxes?
So is today your deadline to pay Property Taxes?
Ours is and I so dislike handing the money over but it has to be done. So today's lunch hour will be spent lining up at the courthouse Tax Office and then I'll be officially broke

Each county has different timing, it's really strange.

our tax is in with the mortgage payment...which is not so bad....at least I don't have to hand them a physical cheque....that really would hurt...

Re: Property Taxes?
If it's any consolation, we're paying 1,600 in council tax where my house is in the UK and heaven knows what in income tax, plus indirect VAT tax taken into consideration and petrol is about to go up to 1.12 per litre in the budget. I did sit down and estimate it not so long ago and it worked out that with council tax, income tax, vat on purchases and hikes like petrol, we're paying about 10-12 thousand per year in taxes etc......make you feel any better?
