Yes it will. But you'll probably have to pay BT to expand into the USA, and move some of their digital equipment and network over here. This will be costly, probably a couple of million at least.
By contrast, a bog standard cordless phone from Radioshack costs about $10 Hope this helps, good luck in whatever decision you make GJB |
Alternately you could just go without a phone, tell the phone companies that you are a bit of a muppet and don't really know how to work them.

BT cordless phones work fine in the US (well, as well as they ever did in the UK at any rate - which IME is not very well at all! :D )
