It's all a bit odd. When they opened in the UK, there was an obvious niche for a chain of cheap clothing stores. In the US, however, the same niche is oversaturated: Walmart, Target, Macy's, JC Penney and others.

There are also loads of places like 'Forever 21' which have cheap stuff for teens which is more stylish than Primark.

In case my recollection was wrong I just looked on the Old Navy website, but basic things like t-shirts or vest tops that would be £2 in Primark are $15-25 in Old Navy. |
