Not before time, the sight of people crying in public over the passage of their leader to the utopia promised by him smacks of hypocracy.

Kind of creepy how it was roughly the same time that some stations announced that he'd died yesterday...

so where do you think the next pope will be from? Another Polish one, or a German? Or does anyone know which country has had the least popes?
Just curious

I think John Paul the second was the first pope who wasn't Italian.

I must say, you do not see beyond your nose. There is more to life than WAKE UP, JOB,SLEEP; WAKE UP, JOB, SLEEP. Find out. I don't care what you discover, but find out. The "utopia" was NOT promised by him or else it would end with him.

The power of prayer?

Either they were all praying for him to live--and he died.

Or they were praying for him to die-and he did.

Take your pick

Take your pick
another possible "or" ...

Or they prayed that God's Will be Done.

He was the first non-Italian pope since the 14th century. There was even an English pope in 1154.
