Hi Everyone
Me and my Girlfriend (both 23) have just come out of Uni (July) with Geography degrees and decided that there is nothing really keeping us in the UK and looking to up sticks and move somewhere new. She is currently working as a service manager in Selfridges whilst I am looking at teaching or a few other roles. Just wanted to know what the realistic chances and best ways are to look at gaining work visas and looking for employment. I am obviously going to keep looking on websites and other forums, but any info at all is greatly appreciated.
Cheers

Welcome to BE and good luck!
Though realistically, with those degrees and no experience, your chances are nil based on work...so either come over for more study such as a masters, or possibly short term, doing an internship as a J1, or doing something like a BUNAC summer camp.
But what do you feel the US has to offer you that would make your lives so much better?
If your primary aim is just to get out of the UK, for the experience, well you can use the workers holiday visa for many countries such as Canada, Oz, NZ etc, just not the US, but that would give you anything from 1-3 years abroad. You've also got the rest of the EU, where you don't need a visa, which as you're not married, makes it much easier for you both to get around on your own backs.
