plain ticket
hey everyone,
It is me again with a question ! I am triying to plan things in advance ...
I found that airplain tickets are much cheaper one way only (at least at my travel agent) and I was wondering if anybody knows first hand if you can show up in the US with a K1 visa and a one way only ticket... or you need a round trip.
regards,
groovy

Since you are entering the US for the purpose of marriage, the INS doesn't care if your AIRPLANE ticket is one way or round trip, first class, business class or coach. The airline might voice a complaint or two

If you are entering on a K-1 visa, they would probably even expect you to have a one-way ticket...although I doubt they'd be checking

Re: plain ticket
I flew with Northwest Airlines in May , they asked to see my visa before i
could book a 1 way ticket but othewise no problems ..... oh and btw ...
didnt like NWA ... old plane and disinterested cabin crew. I'll stick with
my fav American Airlines from now on.

Re: plain ticket
If the RT ticket is cheaper than OW ( with those crazy airline rules ! ) then the marriage is not so fishy! They are already trying to save money together!
