The school raffles were the best. At her school in the UK the raffle would be a bottle of cheap vino, a box of chocolates etc. Here it was air tickets for 4 and the use of a private villa, incl. maid and chef in the Caribbean, donated by a parent.

There was a college recruitment advisor on TV this morning, saying that kids as young as 6th grade go to her for 'grooming' for the college admissions process.

donations for college, the missus gets a booklet for donations they want, cheeky gits after the huge amounts there getting paid...and the auctions they want people to donate prizes for, the list included all inclusive trip to Europe staying at a castle, around world cruise, original art pieces...all kinds of weird shit...and err...well they got bugger all from us *l*
