Passport Information Helpline
Some important changes have been made to our Passport Information Helpline, including the introduction of a Textphone service for the hard of hearing. For more information visit www.UKinUSA.fco.gov.uk/orlando and click on the passports tab on the left hand side of the screen.

As I see it, the costs have moved from being a premium rate service to an international call plus GBP0.69 per minute. A little cheaper, but not much.
Appreciate that it's not your policy, and also appreciate the assistance you provide, but I would still note that it's a lot more expensive than calling the Passport Office in Britain.
