Pantomimes - no equivalent
Anyone missing going to a pantomime this year?
I'm finding I'm missing all those trashy/British traditions this year.
What do Americans do instead of going with their family to one?
The only equivalent I could find is the PNB Nutcracker, at $200 for 2 tickets there is absolutely no difference
Though I am hoping for a great show (never been) there will be some part of me that will be wanting the ballerina to stop and shout "it's behind you".

We normally go into NYC on Christmas Eve...bit of shopping, dinner and a play. One year we saw A Christmas Carol at Madison Square Garden...it was great...then we had dinner at the Plaza.

The drag queens put on a fabulous show that would put American Idol contestants to shame (especially on the outfit front)... and whoever who'd have thought about having a bingo fairy (dressed in pink, naturally),
Don't worry, this show is not just once a year. If you're ever in Durham on the right night, you could be a part of drag bingo too!
