When you request packet 3 from the US Embassy in London and you fill in your forms etc and send them back...do you need the original of the Affidavit of support at that time or just for the interview or can you send them a copy and take the original to the interview? What can you send them in advance signed and dated before the interview? I dont want to mess up
Thanks

Hiya
When I sent off Packet 3, all it had in it was the check list and the forms they give
you. There is one you shouldn't sign but it clearly says not to. I didn't send the
affidavit of support. I was advised to keep that for the interview.
The main thing is to remember that checklist. It will have on it boxes to tick. Make
sure you have everything on that list ready. That will show the Embassy that you are
ready for interview. The affidavit is on that list as one of the things to bring with
you. Im certain that Packet 3 should just be the forms. Thats all I sent.
At 6am Im not remembering too well though ill look it up after ive been to sleep and
double check.
