Hi folks,
By any chance does anyone know of any moving services (by sea) from the US? (in our case heading to AUS)
Cheers,

Have a search, plenty of moving companies have been discussed lately, mostly coming from the UK, but most are international and would probably be worth a quote, it all depends on who is contracted at the local end anyway.

Thanks! Indeed I did a huge search and asked them to send their quote. The funny thing however is, I see a MASSIVE difference between their quotes!!!!

I found the best quotes came when I used overseas movers, who contracted US local movers to handle the packing (rather than the other way around). You may want to check the Aussie forums for some names.

We have used Crown Relocations, Interdean and Allied Pickfords in the past for international moves. All were good, especially Allied.
We used Unity Van Lines (not to be confused with United Van Lines) last year for our move to Mexico and they were terrible. The most unprofessional bunch of cowboys I have ever had the misfortune of dealing with. Don't go anywhere near them!
