What I found really creepy was my in laws have had there plot for years and the Stone is already on it just waiting for dates to be added. Well at least they thought about there only Son.

I passed a graveyard in Ohio once where the headstones were already completely engrave with RIP, name, etc. Everything except for the date of death. Sickos.

i've heard of that a lot here and i wouldn't call them sickos tbh just a different way of doing things and at least they have paid for their plot and headstone, one would assume

That's where they are Columbus Ohio, it's more like a big family cemetery only for some reason, they all go there except my OH will break the chain.

Oh - I just remembered my grandfather kicked in $2,000 ... so it was a little under $7,000. My point is that it included a lot more than just the funeral.

well it's a stone at a crematorium where my fathers ashes are scattered, and it's got my brothers name scribbled on it too, already paid to keep the stone in place for donkies years to come, and to add me on if the need arises.
