Hello,
I have my AOS interview in Newark. The interview checklist requested tax returns for the last 3 years, but did not say for whom. So I am taking originals (and copies) of mine and copies of my wife's and of my aunt (who had filed the original affidavit of support).
Two questions:
1. I do not have my aunt's original W2s, and I don't have my wife's originals either for the 1998 or 1999. We filed jointly in 2000. Will this be a problem, or are just copies aceeptable? What is my alternative?
2. Should we fill out a new AOS and get it notarized? I believe I can fill the 864A and use my income as well (though her current income meets levels). Will they accept a new one on the spot even though the checklist says "bring the AOS unless already submitted."
thanks for your help, everyone!
