Has anyone received their official HMRC letters explaining that Class 2 was ending? I understood that there would be letters sent out along with the annual letter that tells you how much to pay in.

Nope I got nothing, but I think the HMRC may have my old address. I've told them the new one, but I never got anything from them in the US (but the direct debit comes out fine). I'm still paying Class II rates as everyone else seems to be reporting...

I'm using a family member's address in the UK and still haven't received anything. A bit concerning!

On the plus side, when I called HMRC I got through to someone pretty much straight away (on previous calls I've been on hold for 20 mins or more) and they were very helpful.

This year I have found that the US Mail has been really slow and not just for overseas mail. I received an HMRC letter dated 23rd January at the end of March. Also, have not received the letter with the info about what I owe for class II NIC this year. After seeing that other people in this thread had received their letters I called to find out what the amount is.

I had overpaid last year (included a wire fee by mistake), so needed to know what the amount would be for this year. Otherwise, yes, I would assume everyone pays the same amount.
