Default Nintendo DS lite

They're cheaper to buy here, so if we get an adaptor for them will they work in the UK?

shouldn't be an issue. You may find that the power adaptor is a wide range supply that can take 110V and 230V. All you'll need to do is get a US to UK plug adaptor (thats all i have to do with my PSP). Failing that i'm sure you find the UK game shops will sell you a UK specific adaptor for it.

We bought out kids gameboys from US (before we moved here), we were not sure about plugging them into the main sockets via an adapter, so to re-charge them we plugged them into the shaver socket in the bathroom.

Problem solved.
