Never give up hope!
To all those hopefuls that are waiting to be a U.S resident,
After getting married in March 2000 in the U.S
After waiting 1251 days (yes you read correct, can anyone beat that ?)
After my file was closed by the INS (failure to turn up for
fingerprinting, the INS sent the information to a old address).
After a INS apology and a interview.
After much $ spent.
After approx 60 hours spent standing in a que with 90% mexican 5% pakistani 4% indian and 1 swedish chap.
After $110 spent on a emergency advanced parole (grandmother was sick) and much pleding at my lovely local INS office, with all the wonderful cheerful INS officers (yeh right!).
After 1 beautiful baby girl born.
I AM NOW A LAWFUL RESIDENT.
YA BLOODY HOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO !
Roll out the barrels, its time to party my old china.
