Default Multi Currency Checking Account.

At odd times in the past I have mentioned a friend from the UK who spends up to 6 months each year touring the US in his RV.

He was passing through Oregon yesterday and he mentioned his Citi Bank multi currency checking account. This he gets from Citi Bank in the UK. It is an account which has separate accounts held in dollars, pounds and euros. But one debit card. He can transfer money from one currency account to another, and links the debit card to the appropriate currency for the country he is in. He does all this online.

I don't recall seeing this mentioned before and thought it might be of interest to a few on BE. https://www.citibank.co.uk/personal/current-accounts.do

That's a great find. I think I might look into this more!

Thanks

Twenty-five nicker a month though, unless you have an aggregate balance of £75k with Citi!

I think I'll pass...

If that's a problem for you then I doubt it would be much use to you anyway.
