Default moving from Uk to USA

anyone got any expeirnce of the physical problems involved in moving to Boston area from the UK? What sort of costs are involved to move house contents etc. We hope to move in autumn and i wondered how much of our household contents to sell/dump before going. Trying to get ahead of the game by getting organised early.

Have filed with London for DCF through wife who is USC.

regards,
Duncan

The easiest way is to decide what you can't live without and then get an estimate from a moving company. If you aren't going to be taking granny's old side board, look into consolidated container shipments.

Also you might want to ask this question in the Living Section of this newsgroup for answers from other Brits.
