Thank you in advance.

What relocation package he would obtain is based on what his company is prepared to offer and the type of job offer.

If it is a job transfer with the company asking him to re-locate then usually the company is prepared to offer more in the way of paying for the move.

If the employee is applying for a new job then the company is under no obligation to pay for anything.

For relocation packages the following are, usually, included:

Flights, couple of weeks/months initial accommodation, couple of weeks/months rental car, lump sum for shipping of furniture/household items.
