Well i think as long as i am busy and i usally am with my own children i would be ok , i hope . I think ive got to see how it goes .
Is it better to buy a house for the first two years ? or to rent until credit rating is up ?

I'm sure you'll be busy...
I used to work when my kids got older....but hubby was so used to having everything done around the place by then...he was no help....so his job is bring in enough money to run the home...and mine is making sure it does not go to the dogs....

We got our house within the first week or so of getting here....best thing we did because house prices went through the roof by that summer....that was in 1999..after a big drop in house prices around here.....

It's better to just start evaluating the housing market where you will live.
It's different everywhere, and changing a lot at the moment.

we are alos going with my husbands work - he qualifies for an L1 and so I will be able to work (after a few months) and the process is reasonably quick and straightforward (as far as i can tell )

While the processing time for an EAD is theoretically up to 90 days my wife's came through in a little over 4 weeks. This was nearly 3 years ago mind and I suppose there are other factors involved (including which office is processing it and what their workload is like).
